About Amy

Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health. Her career in mental health began in the outpatient setting from 2003 to 2005, where she developed a strong foundation and passion for helping others. In 2005, she transitioned to an inpatient psychiatric hospital, serving as a psychiatric screener in local emergency rooms. During her time there, she advanced to the role of Assessment & Referral Director, where she supervised and trained a team of psychiatric screeners. Amy began private practice in 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of each client's journey.

While her primary focus has been working with children and adolescents, she has experience supporting clients across a wide range of ages. She is passionate about building meaningful connections and helping individuals recognize their strengths, discover hope, and find purpose in their lives. She believes everyone benefits from encouragement, support, and practical tools to navigate life's challenges. She enjoys becoming a part of each client's life and watching young ones grow through various life stages. Her goal is to empower individuals as they work together toward healing and personal growth.
